Accommodation
Sri Sarada Ashramam, Tiruvannamalai offers accommodation with basic amenities for devotees of the Holy Trio, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda and disciples and devotees of Srimat Swami Chidbhavananda, all over from India.
At present only limited number of women devotees can be accommodated in our premises. Men devotees have to seek their own arrangement for their stay. However, they can visit the ashram between 9.30 a.m – 12.00 noon and 4.00 p.m – 7.15 p.m. Guest rooms are under construction. Once the construction is over, both men and women devotees can be accommodated and in greater number.
Devotees will be allowed to stay for three days only. Check out time is 1.00 p.m. on the third day.
The Ashramam does not levy any charges for the stay. Voluntary donations from the devotees are accepted.
Devotees are requested to wear during their visits and stay decent Indian dresses that cover well.
Devotees who seek permission to stay in the Ashramam should register online one month in advance. Copy of Aadhaar Card as identity proof should be submitted while registering their names. On the spot permission will not be entertained. Those who have received permission after registering their names with identity proof will only be allowed to stay. They should not entertain any other person to stay with them.
Dates for which permission sought for and given should not be changed. If devotees wish to change or cancel permitted dates, prior intimation is necessary.
Those who go out for Temple visit or Giripradakshinam should return before 9.30 p.m. Gate will not be opened after 9.30 p.m at any cost.
Visitors can participate in the spiritual routine of the Ashramam. Prayer and meditation - 4.30 a.m. – 6.00 a.m; Sri Lalitha Sahasranama and Aksharamanamalai chanting - 10.30 a.m – 12.00 noon; Arathi, prayer and meditation - 6.00 p.m to 7.15 p.m.
Meal Timings: Breakfast - 8.30 a.m.; lunch - 1.00 p. m; dinner - 7.30 p.m. Coffee or tea are not available in the Ashramam. Instead, a beverage called malt, made of millets, will be served after breakfast and dinner.
Devotees who cannot observe the timings for food on account of giripradakshinam or temple visit should intimate the Ashramite-in-charge before they go out. Devotees are requested to understand that meals will not be available at times other than the times specified.
Foreign nationals are welcome to visit the Ashramam but cannot stay in the Ashramam premises.
